Romans 15:4 is a verse in the Bible that reads: βFor whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.β
In this verse, the apostle Paul is saying that the Bible contains teachings and examples from the past that can help us to endure and find hope in difficult times. He is encouraging the readers of the letter to Romans to look to the Scriptures for guidance and encouragement as they face challenges and trials in their own lives. The verse suggests that the Bible can serve as a source of comfort and support for believers as they seek to follow Jesus and live out their faith.
