The Bible Helps Us to Share the Good News

Evangelism is the work of a Christian evangelist, of which all true Christians are obligated to partake to some extent, which seeks to persuade other people to become Christian, especially by sharing the basics of the Gospel, but also the deeper message of biblical truths.

Beware As Most Skeptics are Seeking to Feed their Doubt Not Their Faith

Christians why should we not give the Word of God to all skeptics equally? Why should we not always correct the skeptical ridiculer? In what ways has Satan blinded the minds of the skeptics? Why should we get answers now? If insidious doubts ever begin to creep into our minds, spiritual shipwreck is on the horizon. “The Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith.” (1 Tim. 4:1) Why? How? Why should it trouble us?

Christians How Can You Save Yourself and Those Who Listen to You?

From the beginning, it has been true that Christians are obligated to work (an evident demonstration of genuine faith), for that is according to the principles of God. The warning of Paul that we find at 1 Timothy 4:16 was packed with meaning for the holy ones in early Christianity. However, today the times that we live in are more perilous, the days are more wicked.

The First Interview With Christ

John 1:35–42

There stood a mighty Prophet; there was the predicted character of the Lord’s Servant; there was a peerless One. The good news proclaimed by John the Baptist was true. The Christ had indeed come.

May we not pause here to consider what this means with reference to our methods of work for Christ?

CHRISTIANS: Salvation As a Work?

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”—Philippians 1:6.

WORK is the subject of this text. The world is full of busywork; the din of toil and the hum of the industry is ever in our ears. But there is another work. Simultaneous with this work of the world, mingling with it, but rising above it in grandeur and importance, is another work—a divine work—a work for the salvation of souls.

How Are Christian Good Works the Light of the World?

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in the heavens. (Matthew 5:14, 16)

Being the light of the world is pre-eminently applied to Jesus in the Scriptures (Matt. 4:16; Luke 2:32; John 1:4; John 8:12; Isa. 49:6), because he is, in the moral world, what the sun is in the natural world. The apostles, Christian ministers, and all Christians are lights of the world, because they, by their instructions and example, show what God requires, what is the condition of man, what is the way of duty, peace, and happiness the way that leads to heaven. As the city on the hill, Christians must be seen; they ought to be holy, harmless, and undefiled.
