How Did the King James Version Become Popular?

2011 was the year of the 400th anniversary of the King James Version of the Bible, otherwise known as the Authorized Version. The English-speaking world was in full celebration. There were television and radio specials, documentaries, as well as conferences, lectures, and seminars. King James I of England produced the translation that is noted for its “majesty of style,” and has been labeled as one of the most important books in the English history and a driving force that shaped the English-speaking world.

Can the Bible Ever Be Translated Perfectly into English?

Could there be a perfect English translation of the Bible? The primary responsibility of the translator is to render the Biblical words as accurately as possible into appropriate English words.
