Are you really following Jesus Christ? Are you really a follower of Jesus Christ? In order for one to be a true follower of Jesus Christ, why is it not enough to simply claim: "I am a Christian"? Why is it not enough to feel emotionally attached? What might be missing from your claim of being a Christian? What is it that sets the true, genuine Christians apart from those that make mere claims of being a follower of Jesus Christ? First, we will look at the verses in the Gospels where Jesus invited persons of his day to be his followers and see how those went, and then, we will answer these questions at the end of the article.
