Effectively Reasoning From the Scriptures

The value of God’s Word is incomprehensible. With it, we are able to answer some of life’s most difficult questions. Why are we here? What is the meaning of life? If there is a God and he is good, why so much suffering? What is the purpose of our existence? What is right and wrong and who should determine it? Will world peace ever be achieved? Will poverty ever end? How can we be happy? What is true freedom and does it exist? What happens after we die?

Recognize the limits of your understanding, but remain determined to find solutions through study and prayer. Trust that the Bible has withstood scrutiny for centuries and seek additional scriptures for clarity. Ultimately, approach difficulties prayerfully, as prayer can guide your understanding.
