The Bible makes reference to various pharaohs of Egypt. These include unnamed pharaohs in events described in the Torah, as well as several later named pharaohs, some of whom were historical or can be identified with historical pharaohs. The identity of Pharaoh in the Moses account has been much debated, but many scholars are inclined to accept that Exodus has King Ramses II in mind. Is this true, or is it another?
