The Bible prophesied that man would ‘ruin the earth.’ (Revelation 11:18) Will humans completely ruin the earth? How much damage will imperfect humanity cause? Is there a point where the earth cannot be restored? Worriedly, we ask, will we ruin the earth to the point where it will be beyond repair? Don't some Christians teach that the earth is slated for destruction anyway, so why does it even matter?
The ransom is offered to all. Many have and will accept but only a few will receive. Are you one of them?
2 Thessalonians 2:6-12: Who is the restraint that held back the great apostasy? Who are these ones that have been “at work” since Paul’s day and are still “at work” in our day? Herein these questions are answered and others with two different views.
Who is this “great harlot”? Who is Babylon the Great? Who or what are the seven kings and the eighth king of Revelation? How are we to understand Revelation 17:1-18? What does all of this mean for Christians?
The reference here is to the coming of the Lord Jesus, and to the various events connected with his presence. The First Epistle to Peter was penned about 62–64 C.E., just some 6-8-years before the destruction of Jerusalem and an all-out attack on the Jewish people by the Roman Empire, which would include Jewish Christians. Christians today face a similar difficulty because the long time that has been given to Satan’s wicked world is now entering a very dark period of time in history. (Rom. 13:12) It would be very dangerous and quite foolish for any Christian to lose sight of the prize at this late hour!

Christians not only have to battle the Agnostic and atheist, but they must also contend with liberal Bible scholars, and even some moderates, who use higher criticism in their interpretation.
