The sinful condition is forceful and strong. Genesis 6:5; 8:21 tells us that imperfect humans are mentally bent toward evil. Jeremiah 17:9 informs us that we have a treacherous unknowable heart (inner person), and the apostle Paul informs us that our natural desire is to do bad.
An improper desire (επιθυμια epithumia) can start in the corners of our mind. Dwelling upon or entertaining such desires normally intensifies the wrong desire, which, in turn, will influence the heart. Deep Bible study easily explained.
All of us have inherited a sinful nature, meaning that we are currently unable to live up to the mark of perfection in which we were created. In fact, Genesis 6:5 says we all suffer from, ‘our whole bent of thinking, which is nothing but evil.” Genesis 8:21 says that ‘our mind is evil from our very youth.’ Jeremiah 17:9 says that our hearts are treacherous and desperately sick.” Based on this alone, you must read this article.
Mary was a descendant of Adam and an imperfect sinner. Therefore, how could Jesus, Mary’s firstborn, be perfect and free from sin in his physical body? Would not Jesus have inherited some imperfection from Mary?
What does s sailor or navigator of vessels at sea, a hiker trekking through the mountains, the pilot of an aircraft flies his plane above the clouds unable to see the earth, have in common? Each of these persons has a device for finding directions available to them, in many cases a simple compass, or technical air navigation system. Humans have a guidance system too.
Our heavenly Father, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, has an absolute understanding (correct mental grasp) of everything, and in His Word, the Bible, he is generous enough to let us in on some crucial issues, helping us to understand. Having an understanding (correct mental grasp) of Scripture is what differentiates the spiritual babe from the mature Christian.
Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden had free will but chose to abuse it, to rebel against their Creator. God had created them as perfect humans; they lacked nothing. They need not fear any illnesses, hunger, death, any form of difficulty that plagues man today.
