Faith (Gk. pistis) is belief or trust—especially in a higher power. The fundamental idea in Scripture is steadfastness and faithfulness.
God’s faith-building promises recorded at Isaiah 41:10: (1) God will be with His true followers, (2) He is our Almighty One True God, and (3) He will help His people. We need these guarantees because we face many difficult trials in our walk with God. We must also deal with pressures from world conditions. Some of us are even enduring persecution from powerful governments.

(James 2:26) Do Paul and James disagree on Justification by Faith Alone?

Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is without clothes and lacks daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be... Continue Reading →
Do we ponder the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our fellow brothers and sisters in our Christian congregation? Have you thought of ways that you might assist them? Do you have a means to do something that may help them meet their needs? (Prov. 3:27) Or, do you feel that is only something that the... Continue Reading →
From the moment that you have become a Christian, your spiritual progress has been mostly a joy to you!
