For mothers, this verse serves as encouragement. Labor invested in teaching Scripture, modeling righteousness, and maintaining integrity is not unnoticed by Jehovah. Galatians 6:9 assures believers that in due time they will reap if they do not grow weary. Praise from family is secondary to divine approval, yet it often accompanies steadfast faithfulness.

Proverbs 31:28 ultimately directs attention to Jehovah’s design for the family. When His Word governs the home, children learn reverence, husbands exercise loving leadership, and mothers cultivate wisdom. Honor arises naturally where the fear of Jehovah prevails.
