The Biblical account of Jericho’s quick fall has been substantiated by archaeological evidence, including an abundance of grain suggestive of a short siege, pottery and grain storage timing aligning with Biblical accounts, and a layer of fallen mudbricks implying sudden wall collapse. Dr. Wood’s research proposes revised dating during the Late Bronze Age, aligning with the Biblical narrative and contradicting traditional archaeological chronology. If correct, this research would position the Israelite capture of Jericho at around 1400 B.C.E.
