Stay Close to God by Endurance
Galatians 6:9 Updated American Standard Version (UASV)
9 Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
Endurance is a vital quality for a Christian in this wicked world that we live in today. Each Christian will face his or her fair share of adversities and difficulties, but our heavenly Father will help us through these. We need to keep praying for Holy Spirit. We will find relief as the Father replaces our heartache with joy and happiness, as well as replacing our suffering with peace. (Matt. 7:7-11) Regardless of the pressures confront us, let us never go back, never give up. We have a storehouse of riches because we belong to the Father! If we have only recently joined the family of Christian brothers and sisters, what now? We need to continue to get to know God even better each and every day, growing spiritually within the faith. We need to mature as a Christian. On the other hand, if we have been a disciple of Jesus Christ for many years, we to must search out for ways to broaden our knowledge of God and his Word. We must never become complacent in our relationship with God. Rather, we need to examine ourselves from time to time, so as to make sure that we are continuing to grow spiritually and that we have not become stagnant. We need to ensure that we are continuing to grow in our relationship with our loving heavenly Father. – 2 Corinthians 13:5-6
